Published Books

I loved reading as a child and once dreamed of becoming another Enid Blyton.  Whilst I never did pursue a career as a writer of children’s books, beautifully crafted words still fire up my imagination. These days, I write from the heart of my faith. It is my hope that sharing my reflections—accompanied by my art—I might inspire others to seek the sacred and pursue the Divine.

To Be What We Are (2025)

In 2019, I painted my way through all 150 Psalms—one painting for each prayer. What began as a personal spiritual discipline soon became a journey of faith, authenticity, and beauty.

The Psalms have long been the language of the soul—honest, lyrical, and deeply human. They give voice to our joys and fears, our hopes and wounds, our longing for God’s presence. Inspired by Pope Francis’s invitation to “pray as we are, without embellishment” (General Audience, 14 October 2020), this book brings word and image together, inviting quiet reflection and the prayer of the heart.

Featuring twenty of my favourite paintings from the series, each abstract work becomes a visual prayer, revealing what words alone cannot express. Through image and reflection questions, you are invited to practice visio divina to encounter the mystery of God’s nearness and the call to relationship with Him.

To Be What We Are invites you to pray, to feel, and to see anew: that we are, indeed, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139).

“A truly heartfelt reflection on the Passion of Christ focusing on the virtues of St Joseph. A remarkable work synthesizing the author’s faith journey of dwelling in the hurts and bruises of the world, yet being healed by Christ’s mercy and love through His passion and death on the Cross.”
