As part of Singapore Art Week 2026, INSTINC Space is offering an exhibition with a difference. The concept is based on the art-making process as the show. I think of it as a living, breathing installation, where interacting with the artists and their materials are a key aspect of the display.  Read more about it here.

I am thrilled to be one of 35 artists who will be working on site for five hours each during the week. I will be engaging directly with visitors, translating the conversations and shared experience into layered marks and colours to create a visual memory of the picnic. Till my scheduled performance on 31 January at 1 pm, I have set up works of progress with art materials alongside so that visitors can begin interacting with the pieces by leaving their marks.
